Graduating from Appalachian State University with a degree in Communications, Electronic Media / Broadcasting, Craig started his professional career in local news media as a storyteller at WXII-TV in Winston-Salem, then moved into Higher Education, working both in video production and social media management at Elon University and UNC-Chapel Hill, respectively. He also has a passion and decade of experience in landscape photography.
